Core competence

I work as an freelance engineer focusing on effective technical failure prevention in combination with technical learning processes. My strength lies in combining methodology, efficient moderation and pragmatic collaboration between departments. Beside preventive and reactive quality management tools I use my knowledge about LEAN management.

My focus is on the practical application of DFMEA and PFMEA in development and production, complemented by experience in logistics FMEA and current approaches such as FMEA-MSR.

Experience

I built my FMEA expertise within the automotive supplier industry and continuously expanded it through national and international FMEA conferences. Over more than two decades, this has resulted in a strong expert network in the field of FMEA.

Interesting to know

In 2016, I was invited to review the draft of the later “AIAG/VDA FMEA Handbook 2019” regarding its practical applicability — a particular sign of trust from the industrial environment.

Today, this experience-based knowledge flows into the moderation of technical risk analyses, workshops and cross-functional problem-solving processes.
